By resolution, the flag patch, when placed on an Us Legion uniform, may be placed at the shouIder of either sIeeve simply because longer as the glowing blue field can be forward. In addition, no emblem, title or patch shall become worn above the flag patch on the same sleeve. The choice as to thé sleeve ón which the pátch will be to become worn will be left to the judgment of the individual, write-up or color guard included. This proviso belongs just to the unifórm of The American Legion. (NEC Quality 38, May 1986) The provisions of the Banner Code do not identify how the flag patch will be to become used, any some other organizations may use the flag patch as they consider suitable.
